Key Features

Installation

Step 1: Install from Chrome Web Store

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Search for "Website Traffic Checker"
3. Click "Add to Chrome"
4. Confirm the installation

The extension icon will appear in your browser toolbar.

Step 2: Pin the Extension (Recommended)

For easy access:

1. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome toolbar
2. Find "Website Traffic Checker"
3. Click the pin icon to keep it visible

How to Use

Basic Usage

1. Navigate to any webpage containing domain links you want to analyze

   • Search engine results pages
   • Website directories
   • Blog posts with outbound links
   • Any page with hyperlinks

2. Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar

3. View the results in the popup:

   • All unique domains found on the page
   • Registration date for each domain
   • Sort options (newest first, oldest first)

Understanding Results

The popup displays:

• Domain name: The extracted domain
• Registration date: When the domain was first registered
• Age indicator: Visual indicator for domain age

Domains are color-coded:

• 🟢 Green: Established domains (5+ years old)
• 🟡 Yellow: Medium-age domains (1-5 years)
• 🔴 Red: New domains (less than 1 year)

Q: Why do some domains show "Unknown" for registration date?

Some domains have privacy protection enabled, limiting WHOIS data availability.

Yes! It works on all Chromium-based browsers including Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi.
